Min/Max
What Does it mean?
For each program offered, there is
a minimum number of registrations
needed before a class can go
forward. Meeting the minimum and
not exceeding the maximum helps
to ensure cost effective, positive
recreation opportunities for everyone.
Please register early and
before the deadline, so classes are not cancelled!
After all deadlines, there will be
an additional $10 fee charged. |
Non-Resident Membership
Program participants living outside
the Marengo City limits can
pay up to 50% more than residents
for most programs. This is
due to the tax contribution made
by residents. As an option, nonresidents
may pay a yearly fee
in addition to the Resident
Program Registration Fee.
How is the yearly Fee figured?
The yearly fee is computed on
the net taxable amount of the
non-resident home. This fee
will represent the amount the
non-resident would pay in taxes
to the Park District, as if they
were living within the Park
taxing boundaries.
What will this fee/membership
allow me to do?
Payment of this annual fee will
allow non-residents and their
immediate family to register for
any program at the resident rate
for one year.
How do I apply?
To pay the yearly fee, please
bring in a copy of your most
recent tax bill for fee computation
at the Park Office. |
