Letter from the Director

To start the New Year right please mark your calendars for Saturday January 9th.

We will be hosting a Fit Fair with demonstrations of Spin, Yoga, Morning Workout Tae Kwon Do & more.

This is your opportunity to check out these programs before you sign up!

We will have a Heartland Blood Drive from 9am to 12pm that day. Look for more important details on page 16.

Our Junior High nights are off to a great start.

We will offer our youth an evening of ping-pong, pool, bags, board games, and refreshments. All youth in grades 5th - 8th are invited to attend.

The recreation center is home for the Little Nut Hut Childcare and Kiddie Kornner Pre-School classes.

The staff is always ready to give a tour and answer any questions you may have.

If your child has an interest in Art or Dance we are happy to provide a variety of both plus new this year is a acrylic painting class.

Perhaps this year you would like to see the Flower Show or go to the Art Institute.

We have trips lined up for both.

When the snow falls our park is a beautiful winter wonderland.

Come out for sledding, cross country skiing, and snowshoeing.

Whatever you decide to do this season we look forward to seeing you at our Park District.
